Reiki is an ancient Spiritual and Healing Practice.

The word Reiki consist of two parts:

REI which represents the Higher Intelligence, the Divine, or the Power that guides all beings and the entire Universe.

KI which is the Vital Life Energy. It is the Energy that gives Life to everything in this Universe.

In simpler terms, Reiki can be translated as the Spiritual Guided Life Energy.

Reiki is used as a healing technique or as a profound relaxation method. However, Reiki can and will go much deeper than that. It works on all the Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual levels. This means that Reiki can also be used as a self-mastery tool to change your Life and change you as a person. Reiki is a perfect self-help system that teaches you how to really love yourself and bring you back in alignment to your real Self.

Elaine encountered Reiki whilst teaching yoga in Italy. The journey happened unexpectedly when she was asked to receive a Reiki treatment from a new Reiki student who was practicing giving her first Reiki treatment. From that day, Elaine felt like coming home to her body and her heart. She invited Reiki into her life completely and proceeded by completing all 3 Reiki levels. Whilst she continued learning and understanding this technique, she was invited to proceed with the Reiki Teacher Training.     By Bus: The easiest way to get to the retreat from Rome is by bus (tickets, €6.10, can be purchased at the station). The bus leaves frequently throughout the day, even on Sundays and Holidays. To catch the bus to Sora, you must go to the Anagnina Bus Station in Rome by taking the Metro line A (the Metro takes about 25 minutes from the Termini station, Anagnina is the last stop on line A). The bus to Sora leaves from platform 10. The station in Sora is the last stop on the bus, so while you are on the bus, you can relax and not worry about missing your stop. Once you are at the station in Sora we will provide transport to pick you up and take you directly to the retreat location.

    By Car: In Rome, you will need to take the A1 towards Naples. You will exit at Ferentino and follow the signs to Sora. From Sora the location is about 10 minutes by car. We will email you directions from Sora to the area by car when you confirm your reservation.
